Dog Sledding


  • Scouts learn to mush, sled, and work with a team or trained sled dogs.
  • Participants sleep indoors the entire weekend, unless they choose to sleep outside.
  • Every Scout will get the opportunity to do a long, solo-run on their last day doing the Dog Sledding Program.
  • For Scouts 13 and older.
  • This program is operated out of the Navajo Program Building, and the Scouts use trails traversing the South end of Tomahawk.
