Navajo Camp
Navajo is designed for second-year Webelos, which are Cub Scouts that are about to cross over into Boy Scouts within the next year.
- Navajo was founded in 1991, and is one of the only camps in the country to run a program for the entire summer that is focused solely on Webelos.
- The camp is focused on providing a transition from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts, by providing Scouts with skills and knowledge that is more advanced and challenging than what they have previously done.
- There are eight campsites in Navajo, which all have tents and cots already set-up for campers, on wooden platforms.
- Campers and staff eat in the Miles Dining Hall, where they are served family style.
- Among Navajo’s unique program features are a wrist rockets range, climbing tower, and a mini golf course.
