T2: Take Tomahawk To The Next Level


T-2 is a week-long high adventure program, designed for Scouts who are at least 14 years old, and are searching for a challenge and adventure beyond the traditional Boy Scout summer camp program.

There are three different T-2 programs: Advanced Skills Expedition, In Camp Experience or Out of Camp Adventure.

Advanced Skills Expedition


New pilot program offerred at a one-time reduced fee for 2010 designed for older Scouts interested in learning advanced skills focused around climbing, sailing, and kayaking including:
  • Climbing instructional training
  • Climbing on the Tomahawk Mega Tower
  • Natutal rock climbing on the North Shore
  • Advanced sailing and kayaking skill training on Long Lake
  • Use of rowing sculls, 22' Chrysler sailboats, and catamarans

In Camp Experience


This week-long high adventure program takes place primarily on camp property, and involves nearly ever adventure Tomahawk has to offer. It includes:
  • Climbing on the Mega-Tower
  • COPE – both low elements, and the high ropes course
  • Disc Golf
  • Horseback Riding
  • Mountain Biking
  • Kayaking on Long Lake
  • And more!

Out of Camp Adventure


This week-long high adventure program involves programs both at Tomahawk and outside of camp, including:
  • Backcountry mountain biking
  • High and Low COPE at Tomahawk
  • Mega-Tower Climbing
  • Rock climbing at Taylor’s Falls
  • Whitewater kayaking on the Brule River
  • And more!
