T2: Take Tomahawk To The Next Level


T-2 is a week-long high adventure program, designed for Scouts who are at least 14 years old, and are searching for a challenge and adventure beyond the traditional Boy Scout summer camp program.

There are four different T-2 programs: In Camp Variety or Out of Camp Variety, Rock Climbing Adventure, Sailing and Whitewater Adventure.

Sailing & Whitewater Adventure


This program is aimed at Scouts who want to hone their sailing and paddling skills. Scouts will have the opportunity to earn Whitewater merit badge and will advance their sailing knowledge and skill.
  • Sailing and paddling skill development
  • Time spent sailing catamarans, small boats, and large sailboats
  • Opportunity to earn Whitewater merit badge
  • Whitewater trip to Brule River
  • Sailing regatta on Long Lake

Rock Climbing Adventure


New program designed for older Scouts who want an in-depth climbing experience. Scouts will be proficient at setting up climbs, learn climbing knots and setups for natural rock and will get lots of climbing time:
  • Climbing instructional training & skill development
  • Climbing, repelling, and chimney climbing on the 60’ Tomahawk Mega Tower
  • Natural rock climbing on the North Shore and Taylor’s Falls
  • Learn how to set up natural rock climbs as well as artificial
  • Overnight out of camp at natural rock climbing area on North Shore

In Camp Variety


This week-long high adventure program takes place primarily on camp property, and involves nearly every adventure Tomahawk has to offer. It includes:
  • Climbing on the 60’ Mega-Tower
  • COPE – both low elements, and the high ropes course
  • Disc Golf on 18 hole course
  • Horseback Riding through extended trails
  • Mountain Biking on single track & BMX biking on course
  • Sea Kayaking circumnavigation of Tomahawk Peninsula
  • Overnight trek to Seminole Island within Tomahawk

Out of Camp Variety


This week-long high adventure program involves programs both at Tomahawk and outside of camp, including:
  • Backcountry mountain biking
  • High and Low COPE at Tomahawk
  • Mega-Tower Climbing
  • Rock climbing at Taylor’s Falls
  • Whitewater kayaking on the Brule River
  • River canoeing overnight on the Namekagon River
  • And more!
